The founders of the trust come to Delhi in 1986. India had seen 61 years of freedom. At that time there were Mosques & Imambaras for shia community but there was no centre of educational, prodagogical, research or cultural activities. During these 22 years small and large institutions were established with meager resources including schools, madarsas, research centre & library which benifited the nation without discrimination of religion or community.

By the grace of God Safinatul hidaya Trust has completed 34 years in 2008 and it has been in existence for 22 years in the capital of the greatest republic of the world ( Delhi India).
